Well the keys have been picked up… ‘Its moving day’
I’ve rallied the girls in to loading there cars with boxes, bags & suitcases…
Hope you all have a nice relaxing weekend, I’ll be having a stressful one!
I received an email in my inbox this morning from LOOK, it was for Primarks SS14 new shoe range!! I’ll admit I did get a little excited and did a little dance in my chair at work… eeeekkkk….
I’ve seen these floral ones previous, and they are good copy of Ted Bakers Floral Heel, not quite the same quality but still a good 2nd choice..!!
Left is Primark. Right is Ted Baker
They also have some nice smart wedge sandals which would be ideal for work, which look smart, comfortable and suitable for the summer coming (well let’s hope we get a decent summer!!) The others pictured are the fringed sandal in Tan which I have quite took a liking too..
As it’s summer coming up we will all have our feet out, so we’ll all make sure are feet & toe nails are ship shape and in beautiful condition, but Primark also have some nice ankle boots which I do like to sometimes wear on a night out with a midi skirt which makes a nice change from heels all the time, pictured below are 2 pairs from Primarks SS14 range..
Well that’s my little excitement over until payday rolls around again and can make a purchase…
Happy reading & shopping if you take a liking to any of the above!!
Well at the end of May 2014 I will be leaving my life long friend area of PE1 and moving to the PE3 area so new beginnings making a new friend in PE3….
Reasons for moving? A fresh start & to save money, aren’t we all trying to?
Also to be a little closer to getting to work. With my decision to move this means a positive thing, it means it gives me the chance to have a right good olde sort out of everything and get rid of things that I no longer use or want, and may be make a few pennies in the process, as Tesco’s says every little helps!!
The negative to this positive is that I’ve been looking at getting new things to put in the new apartment…. Aaaarrrrgggghhhh
I’ve had a few different thoughts of how I want certain rooms.
My room I’m staying with the shabby chic/french vintage look, it’s mainly just accessorising so I’ll be spying out some charity shops to see what little treasures I can find.. 😃
My bed frame & draws are a dark brown colour and have few cream/white accessories already so will be looking to add some pastel colours in the mix and may be some new bedding if I can find any I like….
I spotted this shabby chic/vintage birdcage lamp shade (from the Range) on one of my friends Facebook profile.. This would go perfect in my new boudoir, so I think I’m having to copy…
And here are some bits I have brought already for my boudoir…
I thought the below would either make a cute tea-light holders or to actually have them as candles??
The picture was £18 from Homebase.
Happy reading 😃
Some of you maybe aware that I had a Christmas 2013 temp job at New Look and was lucky enough to get taken on after Christmas for a 4 hour Sunday position.
I can honestly say I LOVE working there, not just because of the discount but the girls I work with are a good bunch and we have a good laugh together.. And at times with being a few years older than most of them I feel like a ‘big sister’
Anyway, back to the actual purpose of this post!
While being at work today and being based at the front of the store and tidying the sale section I came across a black maxi dress with a crochet back design. I eyed it up for a few minutes and then put it back on the rail. After a few minutes I took it back off the rail and showed it to a colleague to get her opinion if it suited me or not?
She said it did and I also liked it and thought it’s £7 so why not? A summer bargain right? So you can guess that I brought it!!
My other purchase today was a pair of tortoise shell RayBan type sunnies. The shape of these are different to what I normally get, I thought I’d try a different style to my ever growing sun glasses collection, which I think is now up to 16 or 17 pairs??
Unfortunately no designer pairs as yet! 😞
Happy reading & hope you have all had a great weekend.. 😃
