Lusting after Designer brands

Ever since I can remember I’ve always wanted a high end designer bag or pair of shoes, to date I still don’t own a high end designer bag, purse, shoes or any accessory of some sort.
I’ve always loved and wanted to own a Mulberry piece, whether it be a key ring, purse but ultimately I would love a Bag but with ranging from £300 + it’s unlikely at this moment or anytime soon but looking at there website I’m aiming (December, as a Christmas treat) for either a purse or a cosmetic purse in either Deer Brown or Oak Natural.

After I finished looking at The Mulberry website I switched over to Selfridges to have a look at what high end designer bags they had to offer, I noticed that they sell Vivienne Westwood. A British designer who’s designs are quirky and different. While looking through the selection of bags they had to offer under Vivienne Westwood I spotted the Monaco cross-body bag, embossed with a sleek scaled effect, it’s a simply design but classy and can easily be taken from day to night with its slim design.

Harvey Nichols

Up until yesterday, I had only ever heard of Harvey Nichols. Never visited nor looked on there website.
My friend & I were in London for the day for my birthday, as a birthday treat she took me to the Champagne Bar on the 5th floor of Harvey Nics. It was very posh but a very nice treat for my birthday from my friend.

When I first walked up to Harvey nics I was drawn to there window displays, they were colourful, vibrant, eye catching and unique.
Below are a few snaps of the window displays.

I was also impressed with how the mannequin’s were dressed and dotted on the way up to the champagne bar on the 5th floor. The outfit & accessories that were selected and put together we’re vibrant, classy and right on trend and great choices.. Hats off to the person who comes up with the ideas.
Here are a few snapshots I took while in the way up to the 5th floor…

PS I love the pompom shoes!!!

Salons Open!

There’s a benefit with working at a Further Education campus…

New College Stamford started 2014/2015 academic year on the 5th September 14, and as soon as they did I was itching to find out when the beauty salon opened for the public!! Not only does it give the students the opportunity to build there confidence, customer service and practise the different treatments, it’s also low prices for treatments and also with being a staff member I get 20% off the public price… Billy bargain I say!! 😃

Like today, I booked myself in for a Luxury Pedi & Mani which came to a rock bottom price of £9.80, yes £9.80!!! I even got a little bonus as I also got a complimentary facial while I was there as a client let a student down… I feel relaxed & refreshed.. 😊

I love it as I get on well with all the staff and the students are lovely..
They also have a spa area with a sauna, steam room & hot tub. This I still have to try out..

But I’m booked in next week for a half leg wax!!

Just a quick ‘pamper blog’ for you too read…

Take care

New Look Wants!!

Like most females I LOVE bit of retail therapy and treating myself…. Who doesn’t???

I shop at most high street shops or online such as New Look, ASOS, George, Tescos, Dorothy Perkins amongst others.
With working at New Look and getting a good discount, it is to tempting to spend money, when at work I am always looking what is in and what is NEW IN!! There is so many nice pieces in at the moment and the colours for AW14 are just beautiful.

Here are a few of my WANTS from New Look…

Coffee Morning!

It’s September and it’s that time again MacMillan Coffee Morning!

This is my second coffee morning, my 1st was in October 13 raising £150.00 which I’m hoping to either raise an extra £100 or even double it… Fingers crossed 😊

I am hoping to hold one every year in loving memory of my Dad who lost his battle with Cancer in June 2012. MacMillan nurses helped my dad, sisters and I through out the time he was battling the unwanted visitor.

Here are my contribution towards the Coffee Morning.
