Good Morning & Happy Saturday

I am currently sat in Starbucks using there WiFi as I currently don’t have any at home and I’m eating my data like theirs no tomorrow… Arrrggghhh.

So I’m currently downloading a load of programs, updating my phone and iPad and writing this post as well as others and scheduling them.

Hope you are all OK and had a good week??  I was hoping for a layin this morning, but no I was awake at 7:30am for no bloody reason and couldn’t get back to sleep either.  I got up just after 9 as I had a post run to do, so I just got up and dressed and headed to the post office.  This is my 1st full weekend of no plans and no work on Sunday as I finished working at New Look on 30th July, I do feel sad that I’m not working there anymore as well as missing the discount..

Well i hope you all have a great fun filled weekend

Bicester Village

Myself and my friend Cheryl took a little road trip yesterday to Bicester Village and the MK Centre for some retail therapy and to pick our moods up as it was a year ago on the 28th we were on our way to New York!!  Neither of us had been but always wanted to go, so we decided we would go on 29th for a day out.

Your spoilt for choice with different designer shops, well know like Ugg, Gucci, Chloe, Prada, Michael Kors, Pandora, Ted Baker and Mulberry to name but a few.  It’s quite a big area, which I didn’t realise so many shops to look in..  I will defiantly be returning but will need to save some funds up first.  I went with £200 yesterday and spent just over £100, but I could of brought so much more, I spotted a beaut pair of Versace sunnies priced at £85 , a stunning Michael Kors bag £153 in a beautiful Green and a matching purse £81.  We also had a look in Mulberry and yes I fell in love with the most beautiful oxblood colour bag costing a mere £995, unfortunately the purse strings were bit to tightly shut for that.  But to own a Mulberry handbag is a dream and something I would have to save up for..

I only purchased two items while I was at Bicester, a Michael Kors across the body bag in the same green as the other bag I wanted and a Kate Spade bracelet.  Which I am now sort of regretting as If I didn’t buy that i could of for the Versace sunnies which I really want..  I may pop back once I’ve been paid again and hopefully they will still be there… Fingers crossed!!!

In busy periods you will have to que to get in to the chosen shop, so be aware and prepared to wait in line..

Hope you have enjoyed this blog post..  Keep your eyes peeled for my sale buys…

Well I can finally say I’m going to see Adele in July 2017!!

I’ve been wanting to see her for so long..  Third time lucky 🍀. I’m so excited I was just buzzing for the rest of the day!! And it only took me 39 mins to get to select and paying for them.. 😜😁

I’m just so so so happy 💋🎉🎶

Afternoon Tea at The Ritz

The world’s greatest hotel, as conceived by the world’s greatest hotelier. For over a century The Ritz London has been the benchmark by which other hotels are measured. A London landmark at 150 Piccadilly, The Ritz has been home to the great and the good, the intelligentsia, the glitterati and thousands of discerning guests since 1906.One of my good friends hit the BIG 40 in the 11th September, so her daughter, myself and two others took her to The Ritz for afternoon Tea.

Its one place that I’ve always wanted to go to, so when I got asked I jumped at the chance..  It was a very traditional British hotel, Union Jack flags draped around the hotel used as curtains which is a great touch and not to over powering.

The tables were set out beautiful, proper silver milk jugs, sugar holders and tea strainers, i haven’t seen a tea strainer since I was like 10/11 years old.  I loved the cups and saucers too.I’d have to say the sandwiches and cakes look yummy when they got brought out, there was 5 of us having afternoon tea and the amount of food that we had was crazy, we finished one plate of sandwiches and then they brought another plate out.  On the top plate there was 4 cakes each, and then they brought out scones, jam and cream and they brought out 12 scones for 5 of us!!!  I mean 12 scones that was a little over the top, they then brought out another top plate of cakes as I wanted to try a cinnamon chocolate one, only wanted one but he brought out another full plate!!!

And all 5 of us were completely stuffed by the time we left, so a little tube ride to Harrods and a walk round Harrods did the trick  to work off the food coma…

Pretty flowers in the toilets 🙂

Well I hope you have all liked reading this post?

London 18th June 16

Another day out in London on 18th June for my friends birthday..

It started with Brunch at Vinotea, Kings Cross. We then headed to the financial area of London as I took her to the Sky Garden, I ❤️ this place such a lovely atmosphere, tranquil and great views of London.

After the Sky Garden we had a little walk to St Pauls and then jumped on the tube to head to South Kensington of a early dinner at The Ivy Chelsea Garden, I’ve seen this place on Made in Chelsea and I’ve wanted to go here for a while. It’s a beautiful restaurant and the food was delish 🍴😊

It was a lovely day overall but it’s just a shame that the ☀️ wasn’t shining.
Lots of ❤️

Living the High Life 💕

Bank holiday Monday my friend Cheryl & I went to London for the day…

On our ‘to do list’ for the day was Sky Garden, The Shard, a few vino’s & then a meal at Bella Italia in The Strand. We arrived in London just past 11am and we headed to the new area of Kings Cross/St Pancreas, we stumbled across Vinotea, this is a lovely restaurant, light, welcoming industrial space. We looked over the brunch menu and the whole brunch menu sounded delish! We started with a Melon Bellini, and then a posh Sausage Roll and a fried duck egg, and I would have to say the brunch was delish…

After we finished brunch we headed towards Bank on the tube to get to the Sky Garden which we were booked in at 1pm, I’ve seen so many people’s pictures of this place and it looks lovely and its also FREE, yes I said FREE to get in you just need to book a time slot online. You go to the 35th Floor for the and have some amazing views of London, there are frosted silhouettes on the glass to show you what is in the area you are looking out at. Just look at some of the views..

Inside the Sky GardenWe left the Sky Garden just before 3pm as we were booked into the Shard at 3:30pm.  There are some great views of London on the 69th & 72nd floor in the Shard, but in my honest opinion I prefer the Sky Garden, as you have places to sit down, the atmosphere was better and its FREE to get in!!

Here are a few pictures from the Shard

Loo with a view 😀
Hope you’ve enjoyed this post… Happy Saturday people

Shoes: Pleasure & Pain

Friday 29th Jan I attended the SHOES Pleasure or Pain exhibition at the V&A, it was due to finish on the 31st Jan, I wanted to go earlier on in 2015 but didn’t quite make it so I booked myself on for the 29th Jan.  There was a varied range of shoes from all over the world, different eras and walks of life, just an amazing to see so many different types of shoes and how they have evolved over the years…

Taken from the V&A Blog:

Our autumn 2015 exhibition Shoes: Pleasure and Pain will look at the extremes of footwear from around the globe, presenting around 200 pairs of shoes ranging from a sandal decorated in pure gold leaf originating from ancient Egypt to the most elaborate designs by contemporary makers. It will consider the cultural significance and transformative capacity of shoes and will examine the latest developments in footwear technology creating the possibility of ever higher heels and dramatic shapes. Examples from famous shoe wearers and collectors will be shown alongside a dazzling range of historic shoes, many of which have not been displayed before.

Here are some of the Shoes that have been worn by a few famous people..

Vivienne Westwood Shoes, worn by Naomi Campbell – Remember Naomi Campbell walking on the Paris Catwalk in 1993, wearing the famous Vivienne Westwood shoes which nearly killed her!  These shoes were on display in this exhibition, the precise pair—”Mock-crocodile skin shoes, which have nine-inch heels.”

The above shoes were worn by SJP in an episode of Sex and the City, where she is running for the Staten Island Ferry and she cries ‘I have lost my Choo’

They also had Davis Beckham’s football boots which he had Brooklyn’s name stitched in, Cinderella’s Glass slipper and Kate Middleton’s Nude LK Bennet heels.

Here are a few more pictures I manage to take while I was there, even thou photography wasn’t allowed I sneaked a few!

Happy reading

I’ve had a lovely Saturday with catching up with friends kinda day!

This morning I popped over for coffee & cake to my friends mum, sister & nephew as her sister & nephew haven’t been good and been in hospital, so I thought I’d pop by and see how they were.

Then this afternoon I caught up with an old work mate, who has also had a shittty few weeks so I made the effort to meet up with him for lunch & a few drinks. It was good to catch up with him as he was my ‘work husband’ 😂😂. He took me to a pub called ‘The Jubilee’ in Bourne Lincs.  It was a lovely pub with an American Garage theme running through the pub, as I walked in I spotted there was swings in the window… How excited was I!? Like a kid in a sweet shop 🙈🙈

We ended up moving over to the swings once we finished our food!! I loved it but did get abit of a numb bum by the time I was ready to leave…

Hope your all having a FAB Saturday!
